Lake Isle is an Island resort hotel located in the Nigeen area and within the city limits of  Srinagar. It takes 8 to 10 minutes to the hotel in a Shikara (boat) from Ashai Bagh bridge Shikara stand. The Shikara stand is 10 to 12 minutes taxi ride from Boulevard Dalgate and the tourist Reception center where some of the main shopping centers are located. Yet the hotels location is private, exclusive and serene with a breath taking view of the lake and the mountains, the only one of its kind in Kashmir Valley.
